In my last post I talked about OURAeSI network and how it can be used as a PR. Well let me elaborate on that.
Why do AeSI student or graduate need a PR?
Placement in AeSI is nothing to talk about, so best way that a graduate of AeSI can market is by self promotion. And this is where OURAeSI network comes into play. By promotion I don't mean bragging about your skills and accomplishment, or putting all your resume into the page. No.
The most effective promotion is by shaping your skills, by sharing your knowledge. By answering question, by seeking answers. This is how you build a brand for yourself. Learned something, share it in the club, this is how you will be noticed.
OURAeSI network provides lot of opportunity. Pages, forums and blogs, its all there. In pages you can put in your interests, your skills and projects you are working on. Forum is the place where you apply your knowledge to answer question, share what you know and ask for something you want to know. And last of all you can get your blog from the OURAeSI network. This is a place you can use it as your personal space where you really build and show people who you are. The main advantage of this blog will be is that you know that members of OURAeSI at least will read what you are talking.
