Focus and how it can create wow effect for our life

My friend is visiting me and i am using his canon 1000D camera a lot.

It's ability, unlike my digi camera, to focus on only the focused
object and blurring the rest makes the pictures so great!! They look
so nice.

And we all are enjoying the undecided focus.

This is lot like the focus in our life, if we try to focus on two many
things in our frame, we won't capture anything worth wowing!!

But just like this camerra, we need to focus on the subject and blur
the rest. And it creates that wow.

The camera uses its own technology to acheive this and we can use our
minds self discipline.

So get going. Focus !!

How to Break inertia?

Easiest way to break the habit of inertia is timeboxing.

If you are stuck in a rut. If you are not studying as much as you
scheduled or if you are not practising the required amount in your fav
CAE tool, and it feels like you are in a 'daldal' of time wastefulness!!

This is the time to timeboxing!! What is it?

Take out a timer. Set it to 8 minutes or so and start doing the task
you are avoiding for the next 8 minutes untill the timer beams!

This simple exercise and working against time can be very useful.

Don't worry what you are doing, don't judge how you are working. Just
put in the time and you will see how you break the bonded chain of
inertia!!

So try it next time when you feel you have lost your motivation. Try
it when you feel you are wasting your time.

I just did that to break my inertia of writing to this blog. In the
past week I had lot of inspirations to write for the blog. But somehow
the initial inertia prevented it. So today I timeboxed.

Different ways to study for exams and which you can choose?

There are lot of ways to study for exams. Different people have
different inclination and routes.

So what's your way to study for exams?

Do you prefer learning by mouthing all the words you are reading or do
you study in complete silence?

Do you enjoy studying indoors or outdoors?

Do you love working with a textbook or a rough copy?

Do you like Reading from notes or from the book?

Do you read the difficult subjects before the simple onces?

Do you keep syllabus book with you or you do not?

Do you simply follow class lectures or have your own reference
materials?

Do you use Internet in your studies or you do not think it's not much
of use?

Do you study with examination paper or without?

Do you devote complete attention to one subject or you mix and match?

Do you study early in the morning or late at night?

Do you study with pen or paper or just read everything?

The point of the post is there are as many ways to study for an exam
as there are students. So it doesn't matter how, where, and when you
study.

What really matter is that you are consistent in your approach
whatever it is.

If you like studying early in the day, so be it. Be consistent with it.

If you love Reading on the rooftop all alone, so be it as long as you
are consistent.

Consistency is the magic!! The ingredient for success in any practise.
So aim for that and every thing else will fall in place.

When is the AMAeSI (AeSI) exams?

With the month of May nearing to an end, I am sure every aesi student
is hooked to their books and the study hours have lengthened. Walks to
tea shop, night time adda withs friends have shortened.

Everyone is now focused on the upcoming aesi exams.

Hi Nishant,
As far as i know for getting OJT (Through AeSI) u have to secure at
least 60% in Sec-B. only IIT kanpur provides OJT (Among all
IITs).Apart from on job training (OJT) u can try for Project assistant
or JRF position at various IIT. For that u can browse through the
website www.Freshersworld.com. then u can prepare for GATE Exam or u
can try for MS programme at iit.

I love FORTRAN language and as days go by my love increase. 

For the last 50 years this language has been supporting the engineering and computational communities. 

This language is rich in history and every great engineer and scientist that you know of will have used this language. such is a legacy of this language..

complete!!

Solving problem is the best and fastest way to learn and become
confident in any software tool.

Faced with a problem, the mind is extra receptive, more creative and
wide open to try out things.

Whatever stage you might be in now, from training to learning on your
own. Once you have gone through the basic tutorials. Seek real
problems. Use the tools to solve real stuff.

Design catia models of your own formula one car, model a pressure
cooker and mesh it. Do a CFD analysis of your table fan. This out of
the box projects will get to you the edge of what you know. They will
present opportunities to explore the tool.

This is where the real learning will begin. So take this to heart, if
you truly want to master a tool, seek problems!!
